Hello, I’m Andrea, the heart behind Andrea Payne Photography. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about capturing life’s most beautiful moments – and for the past 14 years, I’ve had the privilege of specialising in maternity, newborn, baby, family and cake smash photography. I'm a wife to Stephen and a mother to my darling boy Dillon. My journey into photography began with my son, I wanted to capture every moment of his life and to have stunning pictures that we can cherish for years to come. Based in Carryduff, Belfast, my cosy home studio is where I bring your family’s stories to life, creating portraits that are filled with love and emotion.

Throughout my journey as a newborn photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to train with some of the world’s leading newborn photographers, receive national recognition for my work, and, most importantly, be trusted by hundreds of wonderful families across Carryduff, Lisburn, Belfast and Northern Ireland.
I understand that every family, every baby and every story is completely unique. That’s why I take the time to capture the little details, connections and emotions that make your family special.
My studio is my happy place — a warm, calm and welcoming space created with you and your baby in mind. From beautiful wraps and delicate outfits to carefully chosen props and backdrops, every detail is there to create timeless photographs.
But newborn photography is about so much more than how your photographs look. My aim is to capture how those moments felt — the love, joy, connection and tiny details that you’ll want to remember forever.
Your baby’s comfort and safety are always my priority. I use gentle, baby-led techniques and take my time throughout every session, allowing your little one to feel safe, settled and completely at ease. There is never any need to rush.

My Work at the Studio
Located in Carryduff, just a short drive from Belfast, my cosy home studio is a haven for capturing the precious moments of your growing family. Designed with new parents and little ones in mind, the studio offers a relaxed, homely atmosphere where you can feel at ease while I work behind the camera to create beautiful, timeless portraits.
As you step into the studio, you'll find a comfortable seating area where you can unwind with a hot drink while I capture the magic of your baby’s first days or special milestones. I understand the importance of a soothing environment, ensuring that both you and your little one feel comfortable throughout the session.
The studio is fully equipped with everything we need to create stunning images, from delicate props and soft blankets for newborns to playful setups for cake smash celebrations. For maternity sessions, I offer a selection of elegant gowns to help you feel your best as we document this special time. Every detail is thoughtfully arranged to ensure that your experience is personalised and enjoyable.
With a commitment to safety and hygiene, I take great care in preparing the studio, making sure all props and surfaces are cleaned and sanitised before and after each session. At Andrea Payne Photography, my goal is to provide a professional yet relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy capturing moments that will be treasured forever.
